Wink was among those in attendance May 2nd when this picture was taken with the late Art Linkletter, A person Wink viewed as one of the true icons in the world of radio and television broadcasting.

The occasion was the annual Gala for Stillpoint Family Resources, a non-profit organization.

Stillpoint honored Art with its Humanitas Award for consistently demonstrating a desire to Embrace humanity at its weakest, and help the weak get stronger through his efforts.

"Art Linkletter, along with the likes of Arthur Godfrey and Bill Cullen, led me to pursue a Career in broadcasting. I feel so blessed that I was given the opportunity to chat with Mr. Linkletter during this special charity event. Though he had collapsed the day before, he was Bound and detrmined to attend and receive this award. He said he knew how much they were depending on Him to be there. When the "red light went on" and it became time for him to speak, he did so beautifully And brilliantly. A pro in every sense of the word, and one who will never be replaced".
